O.R.D.U.C. was founded in 1971 and stands for
One-o-seventh Royal Dutch Underground Company.

At first O.R.D.U.C. was a band wich wanted to play a mixture of Frank Zappa’s and Pink Floyd’s music from the late sixties.
But after the initial members had left, the founder - Nico Selen - decided to go on with O.R.D.U.C. as a project for experimental music. Gradually the music chanced to minimal-pop.

On friday, june the 13th 1980 O.R.D.U.C. recorded the track “Crazy Computer” for the Plurex compilation-EP “17 to 7 on 33”. It made O.R.D.U.C. “worldfamous”. At the end of 1980 the cassette-album “Pre Pink & Purple” was completed. A few months later, may 1981, the LP “Pink & Purple” was released.

After that several albums followed such as "Fast Forward" (1981), the famous “New Cubism” (1981), “The Beatear” (1984) and “D-Train” (1986). They were only released in a very limited edition on cassette. Some tracks were released on compilation-albums.

In 1998 the mini-album "Bonus-Tracks" was released on a 8-inch EP, through Feedback Records.

O.R.D.U.C. is still active and preparing several new albums. The first one will be "One-o-seventh" Royal Dutch Underground Company", containing five tracks with the same tittle.
Beside new works, also old - never released - works will be released. You can expect such as "Music for the Mind" (1973/75), "Underground" (1977/79), "Lost in Time and Space" (1981/89) and "Red Mixture" (1990/1999) But there is much more.
